Exercise: Aerobics - Hi-Energy

It’s been a really long time since I did any proper exercise but things were busy over Christmas and New Year so I’m forgiving myself. I found the aerobics pretty easy considering it’s been weeks since I did any, so I’m pretty pleased with that.

I really have to start up my running again but I don’t know how easy I’m going to find it after so long. I also wish I’d been able to do the whole programme in one go rather than have all these stupid gaps in-between but I suppose it doesn’t matter as long as I eventually manage to run for 40 mins which is the goal.

Erm I was a bit stupid today and left my running until really late. It was getting dark so I got James and the dog to come out with me but it got too dark for me to see my stopwatch and I felt stupid running in the dark so I only did half my run but at least I did something. We’ve been busy decorating though so that’s my excuse!

Well, I did ask for it didn’t I… running for more than a minute. But I surprised myself as I was actually capable of running for two whole minutes! I did feel like I was going to pass out half way through it but I managed it and I’m really chuffed. I nearly hyperventilated too because I started laughing when I heard this cow slurping on water/mud from a big muddy puddle. Laughing and gasping for breath don’t go together.

It’s been a while since I last did this workout but I did really well with it and absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. Apologies to the neighbours for the very loud dance music destroying the country peace (you really can hear it outside our house - I checked)! :)

I really had to drag myself out today. I went for a long walk with Jodie this morning and I knew how windy and cold it was out there. Absolutely bitter!! The running was fine but I really need to get some windproof clothes, a hat and gloves. I’ve seen some on a running website so I might get them for Christmas.

I didn’t run at all last week so I was dreading running today. It was actually okay but I’m finding the walking really boring. I think I’ll get more out of it when I can run for longer and don’t have to do so much walking. The last minute of running is always a killer as I have to run up the hill to get home. I’m really hungry now!
